Alumina plants (Alumina Hydrate) Moisture Monitoring

The MOISTSCAN MA-500  has proven to be very compatible with applications within the alumina making process, from mining of bauxite to the production of alumina.

Typically the MOISTSCAN MA-500 obtains an instrument accuracy & precision of 0.3% for products such as bauxite and alumina hydrate.

USES INCLUDE:

De-watering circuits such as centrifuges and control of Alumina hydrate calciner
Moisture measurement of mined bauxite for metallurgical accounting
De-watering of red mud in the CCD circuits for further processing of red mud
ROM applications for metallurgical accounting of bauxite
Loading Ports and train load outs for commercial and contractual purposes.
Measurement of nickel carbonate within the process
De-watering circuits such as centrifuges and control of Alumina hydrate calciner
